Union Bank, Canara Bank and PNB are looking good at current levels, says Sudarshan Sukhani, s2analytics.com.
 
Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “When the markets were falling in the morning, I said public sector undertaking (PSU) banks are a buying opportunity and that we have been saying for the last 10-15 days.”
 
He further added, “We have picked up that sector just when it was coming out from a bear market. Luckily, the buying still remains, which means there are many opportunities on the long side here including today. You can look at Union Bank of India (UBI), Canara Bank and Punjab National Bank (PNB), all three have excellent charts.”
 
Union Bank of India is trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 32.77 per share. (Sep, 2012). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 7.71. The latest book value of the company is Rs 235.91 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.07. The dividend yield of the company was 3.17%.
