Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "When Wockhardt  was at Rs 1,000, I thought it was bottoming out so I was waiting for a buying opportunity. However, I have been on the wrong side after the bigger decline beyond Rs 1,000. At this point it is a complete avoid. I do not think I can short it and that is why it does not come in my list."

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 2,166.05 and 52-week low Rs 660.90 on 12 March, 2013 and 24 July, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 71.6 percent below its 52-week high and 6.92 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 6,741.02 crore.
