Nitin Raheja of AQF Advisors told CNBC-TV18, "At this point of time we have an underweight position as far as cement is concerned. Clearly there is a slowdown that is starting to show up even more in cement now and all companies are being forced to cut prices. So right now at least in the short-term, our view on cement will continue to remain underweight."
On August 26, 2013 ACC closed at Rs 998, up Rs 7.60, or 0.77 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 1,017.95 and an intraday low of Rs 994.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 1,514.95 and 52-week low Rs 974.00 on 15 October, 2012 and 23 August, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 34.12 percent below its 52-week high and 2.46 percent above its 52-week low.
