Phani Sekhar of Angel Broking told CNBC-TV18, "The entire banking space and especially PSU banks, their business cycle has peaked out and that is getting reflected in the stock market performance. So if the investor has a two years view, SBI is certainly a good stock to keep it on your radar."

He further added, "The asset quality continues to be a big concern and there is absolutely nothing in the macro environment that you see would help alleviate that stress. Add to that an increase in the short-term interest rates which was against consensus expectations has just intensified the stress on all the PSU banks and especially SBI."
