In CNBC-TV18's popular show Bull's Eye, Sharmila Joshi of Peerless Securities shares her trading strategies for the day.

One may buy Dabur India. Overall we have seen a good resurgence in the FMCG space and among the midcap stocks Dabur is a stock that I like. Given their portfolio and their various brand positioning, Dabur looks like it has places to go from current levels. For the day I am buying it with a target of Rs 175. One may buy LIC Housing Finance. This has been recovering from lows of around Rs 150 that it made around a month and a half back. We have seen steady buying return to the stock and as we get closer to the day where one could hear some kind of an announcement on banking licences. I would have longer term targets of about Rs 215 on the stock. For the day I am buying it with a target of Rs 190. Karnataka Bank is a buy for me. We are seeing good buying coming into banks and this recovery is coming into private banks. Karnataka Bank is possibly a smaller player but once again keeping an eye on the banking licence, I expect banks will attract a lot of buying interest going ahead. One can buy Idea Cellular. We have seen the kind of help that this sector has got from recent TRAI measures as well as the way this stock is positioned going ahead. Within the telecom space this has emerged as very strong player. This is a stock that I would buy with longer-term targets of Rs 190 and for the day I am buying it with a target of Rs 171.
