Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "NHPC is going higher and a target of Rs 30-30.5 is possible. It is a buying opportunity. It is not a day trade, in the sense one has to give it time to play out. However, the trade is available for few days."
At 10:48 hrs NHPC was quoting at Rs 28.40, down Rs 0.30, or 1.05%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 28.90 and an intraday low of Rs 28.25.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 29.05 and 52-week low Rs 14.65 on 01 February, 2013 and 07 September, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 2.24% below its 52-week high and 93.86% above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 34,934.11 crore.
