Tulsian told CNBC-TV18, "I am surprised to see that kind of knee jerk reaction on Unitech and DB Realty because I don’t think that even if we presume that the extreme has happened, the allegation between the public prosecutor and Chandra of Unitech, I don’t think that can really damage the business model of both the companies.”
He further added, “When things were at its peak of the 2G telecom scam at that time we have seen DB Realty correcting to about Rs 65-66 and Unitech correcting about Rs 19-20. I don’t think this kind of situation can really come back, one. Secondly, if one sees the re-rating of the real estate stocks having happened in this last six months or so also got factored in, in both the stocks, so maybe the over reaction which I presume it to be will get erased sooner or later and things will get recovered maybe by whatever damage which we have seen, an upside of about 10 to 12 percent can be seen in both the stocks in the next one week or so."
