SP Tulsian, sptulsian.com is neutral on Indian Bank and Vijaya Bank.

Tulsian told CNBC-TV18, “After Indian Bank results we have seen Vijaya Bank also as you have said increase in the NII and even the reduction in the gross NPA and net NPA, but we have not seen the effect of that coming in. Probably may be the whole market is taking a negative call and if you see the same thing has happened in Indian Bank also where they have seen reduction in gross and net NPA, similar was the case here also, but these are not the trading favorites.”
He further added, “If you see in the midcap, PSU banking stocks there are few trading favorites like may be Dena Bank, IOB, UCO Bank, Andhra Bank, Allahabad Bank, there the concentration is more of the traders. I don’t think that people are too active in the counters like Indian Bank and Vijaya Bank which have in fact performed or shown good numbers. So, may be a neutral call can be taken now on the stock because of that.”
