Sudarshan Sukhani, s2analytics.com advises traders to hold HDFC for long term.
Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “I never like buying midcap stocks that have seen deep cuts. It is like living on a razor’s edge, it is not funny, you could fall and then that will be very troubling. If you buy HDFC, nothing will go wrong if you hold it for a year but if you buy a lot of these midcaps, it is not a good idea.”
HDFC touched its 52-week high Rs 882.00 and 52-week low Rs 638.00 on 11 December, 2012 and 16 May, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 6.23% below its 52-week high and 29.63% above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 127,890.65 crore.
