One can add Reliance Industries and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) at lower levels, says Sangeeta Purushottam, Professional Investor.
Purushottam told CNBC-TV18, "Oil & gas is a pocket which I personally find quite interesting. If we are looking at any plays on reforms then ONGC and Reliance Industries have the capacity to throw up positive surprises going forward. So I would actually look to add these stocks at lower levels if the market provides that opportunity."
At 10:53 hrs Reliance Industries was quoting at Rs 776.45, up Rs 0.10, or 0.01 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 783.70 and an intraday low of Rs 772.15.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 954.80 and 52-week low Rs 671.00 on 21 January, 2013 and 08 May, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 18.68 percent below its 52-week high and 15.72 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 250,691.12 crore.
