MPL acquires game development tools startup CloudFeather Games to bolster tech capabilities

CloudFeather has built technology tools for game developers, including server infrastructure and wallet integration systems

Mobile Premier League has acquired CloudFeather Games, a gaming development tools provider, to strengthen its tech capabilities, the skill gaming platform said on December 10 without disclosing the deal amount.

Founded in 2021 by Romi Chandra and Yash Chandra, CloudFeather Games offers real-money gaming and Web3 tools for game developers. It has a range of tech infrastructure solutions such as multi-card game networks, wallet integration systems, advanced liquidity management tools, and monetisation-focused software development kits (SDKs).

"Joining MPL marks an exciting chapter for our team. We have always admired MPL’s vision and scale, and we are eager to contribute to its continued growth and innovation" Chandra said in a statement, "Together, we aim to push the boundaries of what is possible in skill-based gaming, ensuring that millions of users experience the best in gaming technology"

The startup raised $1.25 million in seed funding from gaming and interactive media venture fund Lumikai in June 2022.
