SpiceJet on Wednesday announced the launch of daily flights to Port Blair and Udaipur, as it aims to cater to the rising demand for leisure travel during the upcoming holiday season.
The airline will now operate daily flights to Port Blair from Kolkata and Delhi, and to Udaipur from Delhi and Mumbai, providing greater connectivity to travellers. While flights to Port Blair have already begun, services to Udaipur will commence from November 6.
Passengers flying from Kolkata to Port Blair will enjoy non-stop service, while those travelling from Delhi will have a short stopover in Kolkata without changing aircraft.
“As winter approaches, we are thrilled to offer travellers two of India’s most beautiful destinations, the Andamans and Udaipur, through our new direct and non-stop flights,” said Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet.
The expansion comes as part of SpiceJet’s plan to more than double its operational fleet and daily flights this winter, strengthening its domestic network and enhancing travel convenience for passengers.
