Luxury residential real estate transactions in Delhi NCR touched a new high this month after an uber-luxury penthouse located in DLF The Camellias in Gurugram was sold for Rs 190 crore.
According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics platform, the uber-luxury property was purchased by businessman Rishi Parti, CEO and founder of Gurugram-based Info-X Software Technology.
The ultra-luxury penthouse located in the Golf Course Road in Gurugram measures 16,290 square feet, translating the per square foot (psf) price of the deal at Rs 1.18 lakh psf on super area. Experts said that the deal is one of the largest of its kind in the country and it underlines the booming demand for high-end luxury properties in Delhi NCR especially Gurugram.
The documents showed that the property was purchased in the name of Info-X Software Technology, through its director Rishi Parti. The deal was registered on December 2, 2024 and the buyer paid a stamp duty of Rs 13.30 crore for the transaction.
The penthouse comes with four car parking slots, the documents showed.
The seller, DLF did not comment on the transaction. There was no immediate response from Parti on the above real estate deal.
Who is Parti?
Rishi Parti, 47, is a businessman and angel investor. He is the founder and CEO of Info-X Software Technology Pvt Limited. He co-founded Info-x Software Technology Pvt Ltd in 2001.
Info-x Software Technology is based in Gurugram and offers digital and logistics transformation solutions. The company has around 150 employees across 15 countries.
Apart from Info-x, Parti also holds key portfolios in firms like Find My Stay Pvt Ltd and Integrator Ventures Pvt Ltd.
Big ticket deals
The Camellias, a luxury property in Gurugram developed by DLF, has become the abode of top executives of big companies and startups. In October 2023, an 11,000 sq. ft apartment in The Camellias went for about Rs 114 crore in a resale.
In January 2024, Smiti Agarwal, a director at Wesbok Lifestyle and wife of V Bazaar CMD Hemant Agarwal, bought an apartment in The Camellias for Rs 95 crore.
MakeMyTrip founder Deep Kalra, Den Networks' Sameer Manchanda and Assago Group founder Ashish Gurnani have also purchased high-end luxury apartments in The Camellias in the past.
Similarly, Vasudha Rohatgi, wife of former attorney general of India Mukul Rohatgi, had in February 2023 bought a 2,100 square yard or 18,900 sq ft bungalow in Delhi's tony Golf Links for Rs 160 crore.
