FII/FPIs net sell Indian equities worth Rs 1795 crore while DIIs buy Rs 3812 crore

For the year so far, FIIs have been net sellers of shares worth Rs 2.77 lakh crore, while DIIs have net bought shares worth Rs 7.61 lakh crore.

Foreign investors (FIIs/FPIs) turned into net sellers again, on December 23, selling Rs 1795 crore worth of Indian equities on Tuesday. At the same time, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net bought shares worth Rs 3812 crore, according to provisional exchange data.

During the trading session, DIIs purchased shares worth Rs 15,296 crore and sold shares worth Rs 11,238 crore. In contrast, FIIs bought shares worth Rs 10,714 crore but sold shares totalling Rs 11,171 crore.

For the year so far, FIIs have been net sellers of shares worth Rs 2.77 lakh crore, while DIIs have net bought shares worth Rs 7.61 lakh crore.
