AIA Engineering Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Udayan Dileep Choksi (DIN: 02222020) as an Independent Director of the Company, effective from September 20, 2025.
The appointment was approved by the shareholders at the 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on September 15, 2025, based on the scrutinizer's report. Mr. Choksi's term will be for a period of five years.
The company confirms that Mr. Udayan Dileep Choksi meets the criteria for independence as prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI Listing Regulations. He is not debarred from holding the office of a Director by any order passed by SEBI or any other authority.
Mr. Udayan Choksi is a Chartered Accountant and Lawyer with nearly 25 years of practice. His areas of specialization include GST, pre-GST taxes, Customs, and International Trade. He advises multinational corporations and India's largest businesses on tax matters related to business models, supply chains, and contracts, and assists in investigations and tax litigations. He is also involved in tax policy initiatives and advocacy and is a member of prominent business and professional chambers. He is a Partner at Veritas Legal.
There is no relationship between Mr. Udayan Dileep Choksi and other directors on the Board of the Company.
