Rail Budget: Railway Budget won't impact market too much, says Emkay

Sandeep Singal of Emkay Global Financial Services said the good part of the Railway Budget (hike in freight rates) has already been priced in.

Sandeep Singal of Emkay Global Financial Services said the good part of the Railway Budget (hike in freight rates) has already been priced in. 

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Singal said, the Railway Budget will be statement of work project the government intends to take over. So, he does not expect too much impact on the market from the Rail Budget.

"The government has not been able to take path breaking steps in terms of infusing investments in the past three-four Union Budgets, if this Budget is negative then liquidity would not be able to repair the cracks," he added.
