Tushar Poddar, Goldman Sachs said, "While we are conscious of the possibility of a sharp further depreciation in the rupee given the global and macro headwinds, quick changes in risk sentiment and intervention by the RBI may make such moves short-lived in our view. Our 6-month forecast remains at 50.70/USD, while we are changing our 12-month forecast to 50/USD from 49/USD previously."
