Experts see no Santa Claus rally; say 4500 a possibility

Despite the poor start we had to the day, Indian equities recovered towards the end of trade on the back of short covering before the expiry of the November series. A positive Europe opening also helped us bounce back above the 4700 mark on the Nifty, to close with gains of over 1%. The Sensex rose over 150 points to close at 15,858.49 and the Nifty gained 50 points to close at 4756.45.
