FIIs net sell Rs 538 cr in equities on Fri (prov)

Institutional action FIIs were net sellers of Rs 538 crore while DIIs were net buyers of Rs 520 crore in the cash market on Friday, as per provisional data available on NSE. FIIs have net bought Rs 1,588 crore in the F&O market. FIIs in F&O FIIs were net buyers of Rs 1,230 crore in Index Futures, net buyers of Rs 255 crore in Index Options and net buyers of Rs 82 crore in Stock Futures on February 11. Market cues Coal India, Ispat, Jubilant Life, Parsvnath, Reliance Communications, Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance Media, Reliance Power, Mahindra Satyam, Unitech, Videocon, Tata Power and Deccan Chronicle were declare their quarterly results today. Inflation for the month of January will be announced today. CNBC-TV18 sees at 8.12% versus 8.43% (MoM). NSE F&O Open Interest (OI) was up by Rs 2,706 crore at Rs 1.43 lakh crore. F&O cues Total Nifty Futures' open interest was up by Rs 1,629 crore in OI while total Nifty Options up by Rs 1,078 crore in OI. Stock Futures have net added 1.8 crore shares in Open Interest. The Nifty Futures added 7.2 lakh shares in Open Interest and ended at 8 points premium versus 4 points. Nifty Open Interest PCR was up at 1.03 versus 1. Nifty Puts added 18 lakh shares in Open Interest while Nifty Calls added 3.2 lakh shares in Open Interest. Nifty 5200 Call added 13.5 lakh shares in Open Interest while Nifty 5300 Put added 4.5 lakh shares in Open Interest, Nifty 5100 Put added 4.5 lakh shares in Open Interest and Nifty 5000 Put added 4.2 lakh shares in Open Interest. Nifty 5300 Call shed 6.2 lakh shares in Open Interest. Nifty 5400 Call shed 5.5 lakh shares in Open Interest and Nifty 5600 Call shed 3.3 lakh shares in Open Interest. Nifty 5500 Put shed 3 lakh shares in Open Interest.
