Why is Fort Share recommending ONGC?

Assam Company and a Canada-based operating partner Canoro Resources had discovered two new reservoirs of oil and gas at Amguri in the Assam/Arakan basin of northeast India.


Recently, the government had won the case against Canoro Resources and asked Asia's leading oil and gas company, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to handle Amguri Oil Field in Assam.
