Apollo Hospitals Enterprises' Q4 was hit by a VIP admission in their Chennai hospital, which resulted in 70 days of lower occupancy. This quarter also saw some impact of demonetisation.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Suneeta Reddy, MD of Apollo Hospitals Enterprises spoke about the results and her outlook for the company.
Reddy said that Chennai cluster suffered due to VIP admission and a cyclone. Also EBITDA got hit due to demonetisation, she added.
She further said that cardiology segment was hit by the stent ruling.
"Our plans are not to raise any more additional debt because we have finished our total expansion plan," she added.
There is no one in the healthcare space who can match Apollo in terms of having the beds and having the ability to utilise those beds, said Reddy.
