Engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) business has been under pressure and delay in two large projects impacted July to September quarter earnings, GK Pillai, MD & CEO, Walchandnagar Ind told CNBC-TV18.
The company reported a standalone total income from operations of Rs 137.79 crore and a net profit of Rs 2.40 crore for the quarter ended Sep'15. The company’s order book stands at Rs 1,200 crore currently. Main focus is on manufacturing projects and not EPC, Pillai says.Watch video for more.
