Midcap IT company Mindtree's second quarter (July-September) net profit grew by 5.9 percent to Rs 137 crore compared to Rs 129.4 crore in previous quarter.
The company beat street expectations on profit front but topline was in line. According to the average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18, profit was estimated at Rs 127.8 crore on revenue of Rs 893 crore for the quarter.
Revenue during the quarter climbed 5.4 percent to Rs 889 crore from Rs 843.5 crore in previous quarter.
Mindtree said its USD 30 million clients increased to 4, USD 20 million clients rose to 7 and USD 5 million clients grew to 27, adding the board of directors of the company has recommended an interim dividend of 30 percent.
