Net profit of Kajaria Ceramics may rise 21.8 percent at Rs 48.4 crore in July-September quarter from Rs 39.75 crore year-on-year. Analysts polled by CNBC-TV18 expect its total income to climb 8.3 percent to Rs 586.2 crore in Q2FY16 compared to Rs 541.2 crore in corresponding quarter last fiscal.
EBITDA in Q2FY16 is seen up 21.5 percent at Rs 98.8 crore against Rs 81.3 crore while margins may come in 180 basis points higher at 16.8 percent versus 15 percent (Y-o-Y). EBITDA margins may improve on account of lower gas prices and better product mix. Gas prices account for 20 percent of topline.
Volume growth is expected to be around 5-7 percent due to slow demand recovery.
During the period, installed capacity may jump 33 percent (Y-o-Y) and 8 percent (Q-o-Q). It added 12 million square meters capacity through the year, that will aid topline growth.
The management had indicated 5-6 percent higher sales growth than industry.
