Jagran Prakashan, the publisher of leading Hindi daily Dainik Jagran, reported a 5.48 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 88.70 crore for the June quarter.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 84.09 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Jagran Prakashan said in a BSE filing.
Total income during the quarter under review stood at Rs 603.35 crore as against Rs 573.77 crore in the year-ago period, up 5.15 per cent.
Revenue from printing, publishing and digital business during the period stood at Rs 489.86 crore as against Rs 473.06 crore in the same period of last fiscal.
Revenue from FM radio was Rs 70.30 crore as compared to Rs 62.84 crore in the year-ago period.
