India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) today reported standalone net loss of Rs 3.40 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016-17.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 1 crore for the July- September period of the previous financial year, 2015-16, ITDC said in a BSE filing.
Standalone net sales of the company rose however to Rs 106.25 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 88.16 crore in the year-ago period.
"ITDC registered improved performances in divisions like Hotels, International Trade and Ashok Travel and Tours," the company said.
