HPCL Q4 PAT may dip 9.7% YoY to Rs. 1,642 cr: HDFC Securities

HDFC Securities has come out with its fourth quarter (Jan-March’ 18) earnings estimates for the Oil & Gas sector. The brokerage house expects HPCL to report net profit at Rs. 1,642 crore down 9.7% year-on-year (down 15.8% quarter-on-quarter).

Net Sales are expected to increase by 20.8 percent Y-o-Y (up 8.3 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 62,249 crore, according to HDFC Securities.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to fall by 7.1 percent Y-o-Y (down 15.1 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 2,681crore.
