Wockhardt's supplies to the US have dried up due to the US FDA order, Habil Khorakiwala, Founder, Chairman & Group CEO of Wockhardt, said at a press conference to discuss the company's quarterly earnings.
He was hopeful the matter would get resolved soon.
He said the US FDA has completed its inspection at the Walunj facility. The US FDA also visited the Chikalthana and Aurangabad plant, he said.
Khorakiwala said Wockhardt filed 14 abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) with US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in FY15
He said international business contributed to 72 percent of total turnover. Emerging markets will start performing from next year, he said.
