HDFC Bank's loan growth for the second quarter of FY17 came in at 18.1 percent. This was a shortfall from the expected 22-23 percent. But Prakash Diwan of Altamount Capital Management says this is not a big issue. Rather, he focusses on the steadily declining net NPAs. The net NPAs fell to Rs 1,489 crore from the first quarter's Rs 1,493 crore. Siddharth Purohit of Angel Broking says he is dissapointed by the loan growth but he says apart from that the numbers look really good.KRChoksey's Shweta Daptardar is also pleased saying the company has reported a steady set of numbers.
