GAIL Q2 PAT may dip 20.8% YoY to Rs. 1,540.3 cr: Kotak

Kotak has come out with its second quarter (July-September’ 19) earnings estimates for the Gas Utilities sector. The brokerage house expects GAIL to report net profit at Rs. 1,540.3 crore down 20.8% year-on-year (up 19.6% quarter-on-quarter).

Net Sales are expected to decrease by 5.9 percent Y-o-Y (down 2.1 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 17,924.4 crore, according to Kotak.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to fall by 31 percent Y-o-Y (down 11.4 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 2,002.5 crore.
