Gruh Finance saw strong disbursements in the quarter gone by but loan growth was on the lower side. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Sudhin Choksey, MD of Gruh Finance spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.
Experiencing good demand in affordable housing segment, said Choksey.
He further said that many developers have shown interest in middle-income group (MIG) segment of affordable housing.
He expects significant supply in the MIG segment in the second half of next year.
He also expects disbursement growth to be over 30 percent.
Talking about real estate prices, he said he do not expect prices to go up any further.
18 percent out of total 28 percent growth in disbursements is from new customer acquisition, he mentioned.
He also mentioned that spreads in first half of FY18 was at 3.3 percent. However, expect spreads to not go below 3 percent for FY18.
