State-run aerospace and defence company Bharat Electronics' profit is likely to increase 6 percent to Rs 290 crore in Q3FY16 compared to Rs 272 crore in year-ago period, according to analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.
Revenue is seen rising 11 percent to Rs 1,785 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 1,608 crore in same quarter last fiscal, driven by execution of strong order book.
Upward margin trajectory may continue driven by savings on employee costs and overheads. Better product mix may also support margin.
Operating profit (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) may increase 7.3 percent year-on-year to Rs 300 crore but margin may contract 50 basis points to 16.8 percent in quarter gone by.
Key issue to watch out for would be order inflows.
