Demand environment good; Expect decent growth in FY12: TCS

Leading software services exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has declared its fourth quarter results which met with broader market expectations. For the quarter ending March 31, 2011, the IT major announced a net profit of Rs 2,623 crore, an increase of 31% on year-on-year (YoY) basis and 10.7% on quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. Revenue for the fourth quarter was also 31% higher at Rs 10,157 crore than the same quarter previous year.
