Bharat Bijlee posted a net loss of Rs 1.6 crore in the third quarter of financial year 2012-13 as against net profit of Rs 7.9 crore in a year ago quarter.
Net sales fell by 44 percent to Rs 110.4 crore from Rs 196.3 crore during the same period.
However, shares bounced back after hitting a 52-week low of Rs 510.05 on Monday.
