Donnie Yen is set to reprise his role as Caine in a new spin-off from the John Wick universe being developed by Lionsgate films with it's production beginning in Hong Kong in 2025.

The incredibly badass Donnie Yen who played the blind assassin Caine in the latest John Wick entry, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4,’ will be playing a lead role in a new spin-off film according to Lionsgate.

The spin-off is set to begin production in Hong Kong next year, and will continue the story arc of Caine following the events of ‘Chapter 4’.

As part of a new deal with Lionsgate and director Chad Stahelski to expand the John Wick universe, the film will be developed and steered by the franchise’ producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee (John Wick: Chapter 1-4) of Thunter Road (production company) alongside Stahelski under his 87Eleven Entertainment banner.
