Surana Solar, a clean energy company, won an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) for designing, operating and maintaining a 10 MW solar power plant by Paradip Port Trust in Odisha.
This is the company's sixth EPC project and is to be completed in the next 6 months, said Narender Surana, MD of Surana Solar.
Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Surana said that the total EPC contract award is worth Rs 60.60 crore and for operations and maintenance works for ten years is Rs 4.75 crore which is more than 50 percent of FY16 revenues.
He said that the company is looking to do 1-2 EPC projects per year in the coming years and targets a revenue of Rs 100 crore from these projects.Watch video for more...
