Sun Pharma to sell Ohm Labs site at New Jersey: Sources

Sun Pharmaceutical is working on a consolidation plan for its manufacturing units, part of which includes selling its Ohm Labs manufacturing site based in New Jersey, reports CNBC-TV18. 

The US site has been put on sale a few months ago and is expected to fetch roughly USD 100 million.

Sun has a total of 33 formulations and 14 active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) sites. The company sold two US-based sites to Frontida Biopharm last year and had said it would sell its Irish manufacturing site.

Some products are still being manufactured at the New Jersey site, which the company may either transfer or consider selling out to the unit's buyer.Watch video for more.
