Shree Cements has commissioned a new cement grinding unit with 2 mtpa capacity in Bihar. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, HM Bangur, MD of the company spoke about the latest happenings in the company, cement price and demand.
Bangur said that we will be commissioning 3 million tonne Karnataka unit in Q1 of FY19.
Talking about prices, he said we are not seeing a price increase as of now but demand is strong.
On numbers front, he said we expect 8-10 percent volume growth in FY19.
According to him, demand in east India looks strong due to low base.
