Changes in the goods and services tax (GST) standard rate won’t have much of positive or negative impact for the company, says Ashish Mandaliya, CFO of Maxwell Industries in an interview to CNBC-TV18.
Maxwell is engaged in manufacturing & marketing of innerwear, which include brands like VIP, Frenchie, Frenchie X, VIP Feelings and all other sub brands.
Speaking on the company’s overall performance, Mandaliya says that they expect sales for the fourth quarter of FY16 to be better at around Rs 274 crore than Rs 261 crore of Q4FY15.
Ad spends would continue to put pressure on margins even in the thirds quarter, he adds.
