Bajaj Auto sales down 8.59% in October

Bajaj Auto on Monday reported a 8.59 percent decline in total sales in October at 3,52,822 units as against 3,86,017 units in the same month last year. Motorcycle sales during the month declined 8.36 percent to 3,08,733 units as against 3,36,923 units in October last year, the company said in a statement. Bajaj Auto's commercial vehicles sales during the month stood at 44,089 units compared with 49,094 units in the year-ago period, down 10.19 percent.

Exports in October this year stood at 1,27,645 units as against 1,58,547 units in the same month last year, down 19.49 percent.
