In an attempt to integrate its business in India, Adidas launched its first omni-channel store in New Delhi today. After a successful response to the pilot project, the company will launch the omni-channel strategy in over 200 stores across cities by April 2016.
"Consumers today are rapidly evolving to connect with brand in multiple space. Hence this omni-channel approach,” said Abhishek Lal, e-commerce director, Adidas Group India. “So we as a brand want to be present for consumer in all the channels where they want to connect with us. We have presence online, in mobile and in store and we are connecting all three. We are looking to grow in this space through our omni-channel model at least 10-15 percent.”
