Recent reports suggest that corporate fraud investigation body SFIO has recommended prosecution against Sesa Goa. The mine major has been charged on nine grounds, including over and under invoicing of export and import of over Rs 1,000 crore.

However, Sesa Goa, its managing director PK Mukherjee says has not get the serious fraud investigation office report yet and would deal with the matter only after seeing it. For the time being the company has given all statements and documents required by SFIO.

Talking about the probe, Mukherjee said that it pertains to 2001 onwards. "In fact, bulk (90%) of the documents pertains to a period before Vedanta bought the company in 2007," he told CNBC-TV18 in an exclusive interview. We haven't gone to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on SFIO report being leaked to media," Mukherjee adding that we submitted part of documents and information asked by the Registrar of Companies in July 2009.
