Umesh Choudhary, MD, Titagarh Wagons in an interview with CNBC-TV spoke about the latest happenings in the company and the road ahead.
Titagarh's order book as on March 31 stands at Rs 500 crore and Cimmco's order book is at Rs 250 crore. Elaborating about the margins he said, "Titagarh's EBITDA margins have been around 15%. Now whenever there is a change of design or the specialty wagons that we take up, there is a change of margin that takes place.But on a consistent basis, we look at 15-16% EBITDA. The increase in steel prices really do not impact our margins so much because we have a price variation clause in most of our contracts."
