Mukund Sapre, executive director, IL&FS Transportation in an interview to CNBC-TV18 said that the new land acquisition bill will not have too much of an impact on the road sector.

He said, "In the road sector land is acquired by NHAI or the government. Road players are not going to have too much of impact because land is coming free of cost to them for developing assets." Citing growth outlook for the company Sapre said, "We will grow at a very healthy rate of around 15-20%. We should be on target for that. We keep mentioning that infrastructure is a long-term game and one should not look at it from quarter-on-quarter basis." "The revenue of Rs 1.8 crore per day, which is a combination of whatever we have in hand etc, may rise to around Rs 7.5 crore in say 2015, "he added.
