Reliance Power aims to increase capacity to 5000 mw

In its annual general meeting today, Reliance Power informed its stakeholders that it is expecting to increase power capacity to 5,000 mega watt by the end of next year.

In its annual general meeting today, Reliance Power informed its stakeholders that it is expecting to increase power capacity to 5,000 megawatt by the end of next year.

It also said that it had 2 billion tonne of coal reserves in India and Indonesia. Both the domestic and Indonesian coal mines will start production from next year and the company aims to produce 100 million tonne per annum of coal going forward. Reliance Power
