The Unitech group seems to have won a reprieve at the company law board on its plea seeking the appointment of an observer to oversee the affairs of its telecom services joint venture with Norway's Telenor, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting sources.
The CLB today issued an order on Unitech's plea seeking an observer for all further board meetings, the annual general meeting and other shareholder meets of the JV.
Before the CLB order, Uninor, MD Sigve Brekke, said they were confident of working out the differences with Unitech.
