Wipro buys 80% stake in Brazilian firm, deal EPS accretive

Wipro recently accomplished the acquisition of 80% stake of Brazilian company. The deal effective from May 1 and the firm RKM since then is a Wipro company.

Wipro recently completed the 80% acquisition of Brazilian firm RKM, with an agreemnt to buy out the remaining stake over three years. The deal became  effective May 1.

In an exclusive interview with CNBC-TV18, executive vice president, human resources Pratik Kumar says the deal size is small but the deal is EPS accretive. He also says that the company has good presence in infrastructure engineering in India and Europe. Below is a verbatim transcript of Pratik Kumar
