Policy paralysis deterrent to Indian investments: Baring PE

After three years of speculating a possible exit from Mphasis, Baring PE clears says that they are confident about the company despite the challenges reports Kritika Saxena of CNBC-TV18.

Sundaram Sivaramakrishnan, CFO, Baring PE says, “We don’t hear any negative noises from the people regarding pull out today but their hand is very much poised over the pause button. The effect of which will be seen in next four-eight quarters.”
Policy paralysis and operating environment uncertainty is playing on peoples mind right now.
Like any other company Mphasis has had its own challenges. Mphasis has a dominant parent in HP. There is a tremendous dependence on HP which has been negativity associated with the stock on account of pricing issues that they have had with the parent. But, that should not color our outlook for the sector in general.
