The Prime Minister-appointed panel, headed by Parthasarathi Shome, has submitted its second draft GAAR recommendations to the Finance Minister today, after which public comments will be invited.
The panel will submit the final GAAR report by September-end. "We have considered stakeholders’ views in detail and have given adequate respect," he told CNBC-TV18.
"At the same time there was also representation from the revenue department in the committee as well as an ex-chairmans of the CBDT and IRDA," he informed.
