Deccan 360's founder chairman and managing director Captain GR Gopinath says lobbying is hurting the aviation sector which he believes requires privatisation and not cartelisation.
On the 49% FDI in aviation issue, Captain Gopinath is hopeful that the move will see the light of day soon. The government finally made a move to aid struggling carriers. The aviation ministry will move a cabinet note on 49% FDI by foreign carriers.
